Celebrating Viola Beach

Just a few weeks ago the guys at dBS Solutions like everyone else, woke up to the tragic news that the Viola boys and their manager and old friend Craig Tarry had been in a terrible accident. Only weeks before we had been talking to Craig about their show in Warrington where we would be supplying PA and another future date for the town.  The team at dBS where delighted when SJM concerts asked us to look after the audio for this weeks musical event at the Parr Hall to celebrate the band.

What started out as a night of a few bands has developed into a stunning line up with artists like The Kooks, Liam Fray, The Coral, The Blossoms and many more. With so many artists on the bill the evening is not without its challenges with fast turn around times between bands and scores of instruments.  dBS Project manager Chris Bogg has been looking after this growing event to ensure that all runs smoothly.

With the show selling out very quickly and every seat in the Parr Hall sold, the PA system has been designed to ensure even coverage over both the stalls standing area and the circle seats. a Martin audio line array system has been chosen along with Midas consoles at both FOH and on stage. “The pro series represents a great all round console that all touring engineers will be familiar with.  They are the best sounding consoles Ive heard” says Chris.

Our team of Matt Chisholm, Terry Smith, Matt Wharton, Kyle Durno and Chris Bogg will be ensuring all 1100 guests hear every note of this memorable night for warrington music.
