Over the Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend, dBS Solutions had the pleasure of working with Culture Liverpool and The Guide Liverpool on their inaugural Taste Liverpool, Drink Bordeaux festival that took place at multiple venues across the city.
The festival saw a range of celebrity chefs descend on St. Luke’s Bombed Out Church, to deliver tantalisingly tasty cooking demonstrations to an audience who were greeted with a plethora of fine wines direct from the Bordeaux region.
Celebrity chefs included Sunday Brunch’s Simon Rimmer, Lizzie Acker of Bake Off fame and Scouse Ghetto Gourmet star Jerome.
dBS Solutions were tasked with delivering a distributed waterproof PA system that would provide perfect coverage with great vocal clarity whilst also standing up to the elements in this interesting and challenging venue. We also kitted the venue out with a PTZ camera system, large screens and lighting for the audience to view the mouth watering creations up close and site power to cater for the prep and display kitchens as well as production equipment.
To keep the party going in-between cooking demonstrations, our team provided a DJ PA System with Pioneer DJ equipment and state of the art Astera Lighting. Our kit could also be seen in other locations around the city, with dBS Solutions providing and managing three portable battery PA systems for Culture Liverpool’s buskers designed to bring attention to the festival and draw people to the venues that were taking part.
Taste Liverpool, Drink Bordeaux was a fantastic success and as always, it was a pleasure to work with the fantastic teams from Culture Liverpool, The Guide Liverpool and St. Luke’s Bombed Out Chruch.
