One of Liverpool’s most loved Festivals returned to Albert Dock for August bank holiday in its 3rd year of this very popular free festival.
Last year saw more than 90,000 people attending over the course of the weekend in 2017 and the line up this year saw over 200 artists play across 10 stages around the dock. The festival celebrates folk, roots and acoustic music and its role on the Liverpool waterways in exporting and importing music around the world. The Liverpool shanty Festival was also incorporated into the weekends event, with performances on boats around the waters edge and in the Maritime Museum. Artists who performed included Blair Dunlop, Wildwood Kin, The Christians, Moulettes and Lee Southall, to name but a few.
The dBS Solutions team looked after full production site wide, across all the stages with systems varying from our Martin Audio XD15 and WS218x systems down to two boxs of XD12 on stands. Consoles across the site were from Soundcraft, Yamaha and Allen & Heath. Big thanks to the team for braving this year’s weather and keeping the stages running through the weekend, Damian Breeze, Danny Clare, Joe Baker, Fin Claydon, Sam Edwards, Gareth Edwards and James Malcolm.
