Thanks again for your amazing service last week.
The Stella McCartney fashion show at LIPA was a 1 day 45 minute show, which would play host to a 15 minute fashion show showcasing some of Stella McCartney’s latest designs, as well as performance from signed acts Candy Payne and Palladium. The seats were selling at up to £500 each and the front row would include Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono and George Martin alongside an audience of celebrities. There was no room for error, and equipment quality and reliability were paramount.
After the initial production meeting I realised that for this gig I would require a bigger monitor setup than was available in house, with image a real important factor. dBS Solutions were able to provide me with an Ohm TRS 112 Monitor system, with a Yamaha LS9 console. The console was great as it allowed both me and guest engineers to operate monitors in a small footprint, with all the processing being done within the console, as well as the ability to recall scenes through what was a fast moving show where time was of the essence. The wedges had a great low stage profile, while still providing Crystal clear sound to the band.
Overall dBS Solutions in what was a very short time frame were able to provide us with a very well prepped monitor system which allowed the show to go smoothly, and to the highest quality. I would happily choose dBS Solutions again for the professionalism, sound advice and eye for detail.
