Exile Parade at the Parr Hall

exileAnother night at the Parr Hall for the dBS Solutions crew and this time saw the home coming of the critically acclaimed locals Exile Parade. After lighting designing their last music video “Fire Walk with me” and providing the audio systems for some of the bands festival appearances last year, dBS designer Chris Bogg was asked to design and supply the lighting and sound for the boy’s sell out night at the Parr Hall.

With five bands on the bill the evening proved to be a really entertaining night and the Parade boys were on form.

The PA was 6 stacks of our Ohm TRS system with TRS112 stage monitors mixed from a Yamaha LS9 32 by the talented Ian Threlfall.

Lighting wise, Chris designed a compact yet “visually stunning” show from the house rig plus some toys from the dBS Solutions stock. Amongst the array of the usual Par cans came four truss towers across the back of the stage, each mounted with a 1500w Vaporiser strobe, some four cell Moles (blinders) with a futurelight moving light parked on the top to finish off! Each tower was then dressed with a few LED up lighters and egg strobes for effect and there you have the tools for what made a very illuminating night.
