dBS Solutions took part in supporting Birmingham Hippodrome’s Summer in Southside 2018. The weekend saw the streets surrounding the theatre being transformed into a summer playground of fun which was free for kids of all ages.
There were pop performances, craft workshops, Retro games, face painting and street food amongst other activities. Families from all over Birmingham enjoyed the event in the sunshine. There was also a visit from the cast from RSC’s Matilda who loved popping over to see the event.
As usual the dBS Solutions Team were providing sound and lighting for many of the stages around the city. The largest of the sites was Arcadian Sqaure opposite the Hippodrome where we installed some of our Martin WS218x and WS18X along with XD15 and XD12 speaker to provide coverage for the audience in front of the stage and around the upper levels. Our team on the other stages made great use of our db Technologies DVX 8HP powered speaker systems and Sennheiser radio mic systems. ‘ This has been the 5th year involved with the festival ‘ says dBS Solutions Director Chris. ‘ It’s always a great weekend for the folks of Birmingham with some fantastic acts’.
