Matt Goss Experience

Matt Goss made his stage come back in the UK after 11 years in Las Vagas.  The uk tour kick started at The Royal Albert Hall back in March and featured big band numbers from Cole Porter and also some of Matts original songs too. The Tour coincides with the release of Matts new album also featuring The RPO

The tour was accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra plus a 15 piece big band.  We were very excited to be on board supplying audio for this tour with System Tech Danny Clare, and on stage team of James Malcolm, Monty Evans & Leigh Davis assisting Matt’s engineer Simon Allen. With half the team reunited following our earlier tour of Tubular Bells with Simon and his assistant James, we knew this tour would be great fun and sound incredible.

We weren’t disappointed. The show received some fantastic reviews across the country with Matt’s fans and critics alike. Simon once again was pleased with the results from our Martin WPC, commenting that he loved the sound and level we could achieve out front of house, whilst keeping the stage levels down using the systems hard avoid technology. System Tech Danny was also able to use the systems exemplary coverage from venue to venue to ensure Simon had what he needed under the hood whilst still remaining tonally consistent.

The first real outing too for our new Sennhesier EW-DX wireless systems with DPA Defacto capsules allowed us to showcase this system’s clean, detailed sound quality as well as DX’s faithful RF reception. We were pleased with the results and will be adding many more systems to our hire stock in the coming months. Ideal for larger multi way systems, our EW-DX will be stocked in 16 way compact racks. We know that RF spectrum can be tight so our DX racks will also offer super tight bandwidth allowing more radio mic channels with in the same space.
