Burn the Floor with Kevin Clifton has once again returned to our theatres across the country in 2022, with its infectous energy and thrilling choregraphy which makes you want to get up and join in.
After all the cancellations of touring shows last year, we were so excited and delighted to be back involved with this fantastic show.
The delayed UK tour from 2020 finally left us on its journey around both Theatres and concert halls to fantastic crowds. We designed and provided a full-scale Martin WPS System complete with WS218x Subs, DD6 front fills and XD15 stalls boxes all driven by our IKON amp racks. Each day system engineer James Malcolm predicted the system in each room using Display 2 software ensuring that the system was the perfect fit. “We use the IKON’s in one box resolution for the highest quality coverage across the venue explains Malcolm.” Our client have been hugely impressed with the sound system, particularly the evenness of coverage across venues and we have been too.
The team used our Sennehsier radio mics and IEM system to ensure the performers and incredible band had what they needed. Front of House engineer Joe Baker mixed the band, performers, and some tracks from our dual Qlab system on one of our Digico SD9 consoles. This high energy production is fast, loud, and full of energy. To find out more about the system design and our engineer’s thoughts you can check out this article here.
