dBS Solutions are pleased to be supplying audio equipment to the Mercury Theatre Colchester’s production of Turning of the Screw. The UK tour of Henry James’s thrilling ghost story, is a co production with both Dermot McLaughlin and The Grand Theatre Wolverhampton.
The story is about a very young woman’s first job, as a governess for two weirdly beautiful, strangely distant, oddly silent children, Miles and Flora, at a forlorn estate…An estate haunted by a beckoning evil.
Sound designer John Chambers has specified a Dual redundant Qlab system, several DB Technologies DVX8 HP powered speakers for use around the stage and some wireless units for speakers within props. We supplied some of our Sennheiser IEM systems along with customised Mini Rig speakers for this application.
