dBS Solutions are delighted to be providing full production for this years Bury Transition Festival. The festival provides lighting and sound around Bury with live artists, sound sculptures and storytelling within the town’s garden areas. The events creators, The Hamilton Project contacted dBS after our work on Liverpool’s Pirate Festival. The event organisers were looking for a company with the right attitude to immersive arts events to provide sound, lighting, staging and power to a number of sites through Bury.
We worked with the events team to deliver sound & lighting for two stages with live acts, choirs & theatre performances, along with several smaller PA systems, and additional lighting around the gardens area in trees and fences. dBS Solutions also provided power for each site with silent generators for bars, arts marquees and our friends at Iluminos, the large scale projection experts.
We’ve really enjoyed working with The Hamilton Project on this exciting event. This year marks the festivals first year involving sound more heavily and we are looking forward to discussing next year. “Working with Rob and Matt at Iluminos is always a pleasure and its great to see how lighting, audio, stage and video can come together to create such a wonderful piece of art”
